Derec is a published comic book penciler, inker, colorist, and writer. His career started in 1994 working on L.E.G.I.O.N. for DC Comics and during the past 19 years, Derec has worked for every major publisher in comics. He has worked on virtually every major recognizable character in comics. Derec's imagination has brought to life Batman, Venom, Green Lantern, Avengers, X-Men, JLA, JSA, Superman and a host of other characters.
Born in the mid 80’s, Alexandra grew up during the era of Disney, Saturday morning cartoons, and many other TV and media sources that greatly influence her love for art and illustrating. In 2002, she graduated from the Detroit High School for Fine and Performing Arts, where she learned the majority of her skills in fine arts, and later went to attend the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, where she learned traditional illustration. As an illustrator and graphic designer, Alexandra has provided artwork for people, businesses, as well as children’s books and covers. She also teaches art classes for inspiring artists of all ages. Currently living, creating, and blogging in Biloxi, MS, Alexandra’s recent work has been highly influenced by Art Nouveau, Japanese animation, and American comics. Alexandra’s originals and prints are featured on etsy.com and many art shows and conventions.
Twootie Tarte is the nerd's one-stop shop for everything bath and beauty. Based out of New Orleans, Twootie Tarte has been eliminating nasty con funk and saving the hedgehogs for almost 6 years. Twootie fans typically find themselves falling in love with the original Pokemon Egg bath bomb, savoring a whiff of our sailor moon inspired perfumes, checking out our hedgehog-themed products, or demolishing the Shrek bubble bars (under running water). Whether you are into gaming, anime, or just like fresh smells, there is something for everyone at our table. Times for bath bomb demos will be posted on our social media & at our booth. If you can't find us just sniff around the vendors room!
Felix Matos is a painter of horror and movie art on canvas. Writer, producer, and director of the movie "PUMPKEN". Slidell Local, John Dell married, father of two great kids, has been working in the Comic book Industry for close to 25 years.Marvel, DC, Crossgen, Image, Darkhorse, and a few others have had pages inked on his drawing table. Past credits would include long runs on JLA, Lobo, Mystic, Ultimate Spider-Man and the FF, the Young Avengers (harvey nominated), The Huntress, The Atom, X-men, Excaliber and just about anything else! Credits for the last two years include, Superior Spider-Man, Dead no More, The Clone Conspiracy, Marvel Two in One, Teen Titans #29 and 30, Scarlet Spider-Man, Venom, Dead Pool Assassin, and at this moment, is working with Mark Bagley and Chip Zdarsky on the Mini Series Amazeing Spider-Man, A Life Story. I am looking to forward seeing all of you, old friends and new at the STCC!

I’m Rachelle & I’m the owner & designer of The Handmade Nerd. I love to sew & I spend most of my free time creating. I’m a former vendor at STCC and I’m so glad to be back with new items & designs! I will have dog collars, makeup & travel bags, purses & a few other small items.
I'm excited to be a part of this convention again! I had such a great time last year. What you can expect to see at my booth is a variety of paintings of Star Wars characters, DC and Marvel characters, Dr. Who, and so much more! Jesse Elliott specializes in comic and manga-style illustration. He was recently selected runner up in Top Cow Comics' 2018 Talent Hunt. His artwork has appeared in StarCraft: Frontline, a graphic novel anthology based on the popular PC game, and he was chosen as a runner-up in SEGA's "Bayonetta Reimagined" art contest.
